Sharon Gell

Allow me to introduce myself, Shazza, also known as Shaznav or Nanna Shaz.

Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working in the Aged Care sector since 1990, dedicating my skills and passion to this field. I spent 13 years at the esteemed Royal Freemasons homes of Victoria, specifically at Gregory Lodge, followed by 10 years at BlueCross Riverlea. My diverse roles have included working as an Enrolled Nurse (EN), physio assistant, Lifestyle coordinator, Operations manager, Roster coordinator, and Administration personnel.

In addition to my career, I have been blessed with a loving family. I am married with two adult children and recently became a proud grandmother to a precious grandson in April 2023, bringing immense joy to my life.

Supporting my loved ones in their sporting endeavours has been a rewarding part of my journey. I have travelled across the country for national competitions and even ventured overseas for Baseball World Cups with my son Nathan and daughter, Bronwyn.

Outside of work and family commitments, I find great pleasure in attending football matches regularly, where we passionately cheer for Geelong.

My personal adventures have taken me to various locations, including residing in Cann River for two years and Daylesford for two and a half years. During our time in Daylesford, I also engaged in Family Day Care. Finally, in 1997, my journey led me to Sunbury, where Bronwyn offered me a remarkable opportunity to join her team. Taking that leap has proven to be a pivotal decision in my career, and I haven’t looked back since.
